Spring is here and Re:Create is buzzing! We had a great time during our last workshop sessions – the creative energy was contagious. We want to keep that momentum going, so join us for our next round on May 11–12! Beyond that, our webinar with Archiproof AI is now live, and you can catch our latest interview with Julia Krantz (Kurppa Hosk). Don't miss our exclusive event in Lund on May 6 and our new LinkedIn page: ”AI for the creative sector.”
Stay inspired!

We spoke with Julia Krantz about operating at the intersection of technology and creativity. With a background in fashion and tech, she has led creative work in fast-growing environments and for global brands. At Kurppa Hosk, her focus is on integrating AI into how they think and create. Not just as a way of producing, but as part of the process itself.
Architecture is moving beyond BIM faster than most realize. In this highly attended session, Michael Matèrn (Archiproof AI) shared how AI is reshaping architectural workflows by moving toward a paradigm where architects work directly with design intent while AI handles the underlying technical complexity. Key learnings from the talk include the shift toward an AI-native approach to workflows and how firms can adapt to avoid being outpaced by clients and contractors using generative AI.
From BIM to AI: The Future of AI-Native Architectural Design This webinar, hosted by AI Sweden in collaboration with RISE and KTH, explores the turning point for architectural design. Within the next 3–5 years, firm-specific knowledge and regulations will be integrated into unified, project-based environments where AI manages complexity so architects can focus on spatial thinking and creativity.
Following last year’s highly successful conference, where designers, technologists, and industry leaders came together to explore the first waves of AI in industrial design, we now return to continue the conversation – one year later, with new insights, real-world applications, and fresh challenges.
Workshop: Strengthening Your Design Process with Generative AI – LEVEL 1
📍 Göteborg
🗓️ May 12, 09:00–12:00
This workshop examines how generative AI can create value within the creative process. Participants will explore what AI could tangibly mean for their own design or development practice – guided by genuine needs rather than hype.
As part of AI Sweden's hub for the innovation ecosystem, we have developed a DIY workshop where you will get a practical introduction to how to design AI assistants that can reason, remember, and use tools.
Please note that the workshop material is in Swedish.
AI for the Creative Sector is a bi-monthly newsletter sent out as part of the Re:Create project, an initiative led by AI Sweden.
Re:Create investigates how AI can strengthen and develop design processes by focusing on the participants' needs. The project is based on the actors' desire for skills development and to explore AI's possibilities for creative creation, production, and innovation, with a particular focus on visualization. The project focuses on creative industries such as fashion, architecture, film and design to create innovation between today's skills and tomorrow's opportunities.
